The One Million Steps for One Millions Faces walk last Saturday celebrated the amazing work of our Sustainable Med team around the world who have deeply impacted the lives of over 1,000,000 children and families suffering with Neglected Tropical Diseases. Those attending took steps to not only commemorate this accomplishment but also experienced simulations of the symptoms of these diseases that plague over 1.2 billion people worldwide. This greatly deepened their understanding of the people dealing with these NTDs but they also celebrated in the stories of the lives transformed when they were freed from these afflictions causing pain, deformities and isolation.
