"It is Good"

For Henry Mutebi and his team in Kyankwanzi, Uganda, they know that disease eradication is more than just providing medication. It is a true transformation. This begins with a change in identity and a wellspring of hope as those in the community know that they are sons and daughters of the Creator of the Universe who loves them more than they can even imagine. But, if this is true, then comprehensive efforts are needed to reflect this identity. Education is provided along with hygiene materials. And, they are trained and equipped to transform their environment with things like homemade mats to decrease the possibility of future parasite infections. They are not just doing "good things", they are changing the people and environment so that the community can proclaim "it is good"
