our work
Sustainable Medical Missions (SMM) aims to train and fund indigenous community healthcare leaders to facilitate more effective and durable tropical disease prevention and treatment in developing nations.

Activities include:

-
Education in holistic medical techniques using best practices
-
Provision of resources for treatment and prevention of reinfection
-
Relationship building between community healthcare leaders and local pastors
-
Inclusion of solutions from indigenous people to make any other essential behavioral or environmental changes needed to eliminate tropical diseases from their community

SMM seeks development in cooperation with the World Health Organization and national healthcare leaders and institutions, as well as a network of local pastors and churches. Our mission is carried out through US-based clinical curriculum development and fundraising as well as programmatic execution and refinement by community healthcare leaders in developing nations throughout the world.
